A girl was among the injured and the animal was killed after jumping a fence onto the course
A man died and at least three people, including a girl, were injured when a bull escaped during this morning’s bullfight in the town of Pantoja, Toledo, which is celebrating festivities in honor of Santa Bárbara.
“He set up a slaughterhouse,” sources said, and the animal was then shot, according to the 112 emergency service. The bull, which had jumped a fence along the route, remained free for some time until it was killed.
In addition to the security forces and agents, numerous medical resources and personnel were deployed: a medical helicopter, two Uvis and two Basic Life Support ambulances.
