According to the results of a study conducted by specialists from the Analytical Center of the National Financial Research Agency, every second Russian borrower has problems with repayment of loans granted. At the same time, as TASS reports today, October 4, more than 20% of Russians do not understand what a credit rating is.
This information was confirmed by the executive director of the Analytical Center of the National Agency for Financial Investigations (NAFI) Lyudmila Spiridonovawho spoke at the All-Russian Conference on the exchange of experience and presentation of best practices of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the field of financial education.
“One in two borrowers faces a problem with loan repayment. Not everyone is still responsible for making such a decision and 21% do not know what a credit score is and therefore do not have the tools to make the right decision.” – said Spiridonova.
At the same time, 60% of Russians surveyed confirmed that they manage a family budget, and the remaining 40% record expenses in their minds. But only 16% have a high level of financial knowledge.
