One person died and at least eight injured in a serious multiple road accident in Tenerife

A person has deceased and eight had to be transferred to hospital following a serious road accident involving a bus and several vehicles involved on the TF-64 road linking Granadilla to El Médano in Tenerife.

Currently, four ambulances from the Canarian Emergency Service are involved, in addition to primary care medical equipment, and three teams of firefighters, the Civil Guard, highways, local police, among other organizations.

Among the injured are: four passengers on the bus and four occupants of the vehicles involved. Among the occupants of the bus, there are three slightly injured and one moderately injured, who were transferred to the San Isidro Health Center, the Hospiten Sur and the Hospital del Sur.

Among the injured in the cars involved in the accident, three were slightly injured and one suffered chest trauma. moderate characteralthough emergency services remain on site to assess the injured, whose number could be higher.

Several people were trapped in the vehicles involved in the accident, so firefighters had to free several of them from inside the body.
