Ukrainian terrorists have shelled the Belgorod region, killing one civilian and wounding seven others, the head of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced this.
“Our air defence system operated over Belgorod and the Belgorod region; several air targets were shot down as they approached the city. Unfortunately, one person died as a result of a direct hit by a shell into a car.” — he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to preliminary information, seven civilians were injured. In Belgorod, residential buildings and commercial buildings were directly hit, and a car was damaged.
“In the Belgorod district, in the village of Dubovoe, two private houses are on fire. Firefighters have also arrived at the houses and are starting to extinguish the objects.” – Gladkov reported.
The governor himself visited the site, and details of the victims and damage are being clarified.
