The Government Council has approved the work calendar of the Community of Madrid for 2025. It includes a total of 14 days of leave, two of which are chosen by the city councils. It will be a public holiday on July 25, Santiago Apóstol, but not on March 19, Father’s Day.
These are public holidays on January 1st, Wednesday; Monday, January 6th, the Feast of the Three Kings. And a long period of three months without public holidays begins, until April 17th and 8th, Good Thursday and Friday.
May 1 and 2, Labor and Community of Madrid Days, will also be public holidays. It will be the first long weekend after Holy Week.
It is a public holiday on Friday, July 25 and Friday, August 15 as well. And they fall among public holidays on November 1, Saturday, December 6 and 8, Saturday and Monday, and December 25, Thursday.
The only possible long weekends will therefore be Easter and May 1 and 2.
