An operational search was conducted in connection with the illegal actions of Sanan Nadir oghlu Feyzullayev, head of the department for work with territorial administration and local self-government bodies of the executive authority of the Agsu district, and Vugar Sakhavat oglu Asgarov, consultant of the Land Use Management and Control Sector of the Shamakhi Territorial Department of the State Real Estate Affairs Service, as a result of their actions, a criminal case was initiated in the Main Anti-Corruption Office under the Prosecutor General.
Oku.Az reports that this was reported in response to queries received by the Press Service of the Attorney General’s Office.
As a result of the operational and investigative measures carried out, it was established that Vugar Asgarov and Sanan Feyzullayev entered into a criminal relationship and illegally influenced the decisions of competent officials of relevant state bodies and demanded and received various amounts of money from citizens in exchange for permission to use subsoil on the territory of the Agsu region.
Based on the collected preliminary evidence, Vugar Asgarov and Sanan Feyzullayev were charged under Article 312-1.1 (peddling in influence) of the Criminal Code, and on the basis of the petition of the investigator and the submission of the prosecutor who led the procedural management of the case, preventive measures of preliminary investigation, house arrest (main) and dismissal from office by decision of the Binagadi District Court (additional) have been selected.
A full and thorough investigation of all cases of the criminal case is currently underway.
