The protesters do not meet much resistance. Earlier, opposition publics released a video of some security forces leaving the parliament building to applause from protesters.
The authorities are trying to stabilize the situation in Sukhum: the administration has announced that it is preparing to withdraw the bill on the ratification of the investment agreement with Russia. However, this is the morning demand of the protesters. When deputies postponed the session in which the issue of ratification was to be considered and then failed to comply with the demand to vote against ratification, protesters demanded the president’s resignation.
