Oppositions to the Economic and Financial Management Body of Castilla y León: conditions, dates and exams

He Official Journal of Castile and Leon includes the call for oppositions, in free shift, for which the Council intends to take charge 20 places of the Economic and Financial Management Body of the Community. Among the places called, three are reserved to people with disabilities.

What requirements do I have to meet to be part of the economic and financial management body of Castilla y León?

Candidates must have the Spanish nationality or that of a Member State of the European Union; be over 16 years of age and not exceed the maximum retirement age; as well as have the functional capacities necessary to perform the duties of the position.

Regarding the diploma, interested persons must be in possession of the Doctorate, Bachelor’s, Engineer, Architect or University Graduate degree. In addition, persons applying for the disability quota must provide proof of a Score of 33%.

When can I submit my application? How can I do it?

The deadline for submitting applications begins on September 18 and ends October 14.

Applications can be submitted in person to the Administrative offices of the community, after completing the relevant forms and submitting the required documents detailed in the bases. They can also be submitted via the Web page of the Junta de Castilla y León.

What will the exams to enter the Economic and Financial Management Corps of Castilla y León be like?

The selection process will take place through alternating competitions and will include two exercises.

The first will consist of responding in writing to a questionnaire 15 questions which will be divided into two blocks. In the first, 10 questions will be answered, five on legal issues and five on issues of economy and organization of the State and public administrations. In the second block, we will answer five questions to choose from based on two themes proposed by the Court, one on legal issues and the other on the economy and the organisation of the State and public administrations.

The second exercise will be divided into two parts: in the first, candidates must resolve, in writing, four practical cases of accounting and financial mathematics of the agenda of Annex II-2. In the second part, they will have to respond in writing to a 15-question questionnaire proposed by the Court. This may involve the resolution of practical cases, as well as the development of a topic proposed by the Court in accordance with the programme set out in Annex II-3 of the call. The topic developed must be read in public session.
