Pedro Sánchez once again expanded on his idea that “hiring at origin and orderly migration” is a practice that suits everyone.
He did it this Thursday from Senegal, last stop on his tour of Africa with immigration as a backdrop, a country from which he slipped this Wednesday, as a novelty in his speech, that the return of immigrants in an irregular situation is “indispensable” because it sends “a discouraging, clear, clear and strong message to the mafias” because security is an “absolute priority”.
In his last institutional statement of the tour, accompanied by the Senegalese president Bassirou Diomaye Fayeyou have returned to the original line:
“Orderly migration inoculates us against those who make irregular migration a business, like the mafias, and against those who use this migration as a pretext to spread hatred and xenophobia,” Sanchez stressed, amid the migratory tension that reigns in Spain, in the middle of the president’s institutional tour of the African continent.
“Migration is not a fairy tale. We Spaniards know this well, recently we were a country of emigrants. But this is necessary for both the countries of origin and destination. AND I am talking about orderly migration, because irregular migration is hell.“, added the socialist leader, thus ending three days of meetings with his namesakes on the other side of the strait.
