Honored artist Babek Niftaliyev, who supported our soldiers with his performances during the 44-day war, shared his feelings with Baku TV.
“My father and mother were worried that something would happen to me. But I couldn’t sit idly at home. I put the microphone aside and went to the front,” he said.
The honored artist Ilkin Ahmadov is one of our artists who is with our army in the war zone. He stressed that it is his duty to be with our soldiers in the war.
“It was as if our soldiers did not expect to see us there. Everyone had a smile on their face. It was very nice for us. I couldn’t sleep at home when my brothers, my loved ones and my children were fighting there. We tried to motivate them with our performances” .
Popular artist Nurettin Mehdikhanli said that the 44 days he spent with our soldiers at the front were the most valuable in his life and he was proud of it:
“I am an artist and at the same time a reserve officer. I saw with my own eyes what the Azerbaijani soldier did in the war. This is an irreplaceable event in our history.”
