Our rowers finished the “Mingachevir-2024 Regatta” with 24 medals

At the international tournament “Mingachevir Regatta-2024” in rowing, kayaking and canoeing, representatives of Azerbaijan won 13 more medals and finished the competition with 24 medals.

Oku.Az reports that Azer Ilyasov-Tunar Mammadzade won a gold medal in the competition for athletes born in 2008-2009.

They excelled in the 1500 distance race in academic rowing.

Amil Ramazanov (2006-2007) won the silver medal in the 1,000 meter kayak race.

The Niyaz Malikov-Emil Zeynalov pair won silver, and the Giyas Ahmadov-Subhan Hasanov pair won bronze medals among kayakers born in 2008-2009.

In academic rowing (2006-2007), Nurlan Pashayev – Jahangir Mammadli, Sabit Abdullayev – Fikret Hasanov, Muhammad Niftullayev – Neymat Hasanov took the first three places, respectively.

In the 200 meter kayak competition (2008-2009), the pair of Giyas Ahmadov and Subhan Hasanov won gold medals, and the pair of Ivan Vorobianski-Huseyn Hasanov and Vajib Babayev-Shahin Isayev won silver medals.

Finally, the pair formed by Ibrahim Mammadzade-Elmir Tarverdiyev (2010-2011) took third place in kayak.

In academic 1000 meter rowing (2010-2011), Mahammad Hasanov-Raul Shamilov won silver, Yusif Aliyev-Ruslan Farajov won bronze.

It should be noted that previously our athletes won 11 prizes at the regatta.
