The Russian army continues to advance towards Ugledar, trying to immobilize the defending group of troops of the kyiv regime.
As military bloggers note, attacks are being carried out against enemy positions on the flanks of this sector of the front for this purpose. Their aim is to gain access to Epiphany, which will entail the encirclement of Ugledar.
To implement this plan, Russian units increased pressure in the area of the Yuzhno-Donbasskaya mine No. 1 and in the village of Vodyanoye in the direction of the Yuzhno-Donbasskaya mine No. 3.
The capture of this complex of buildings will bring our troops into the operational space and allow us to plan future attack actions. It is likely that there will be an attack on the mine today.
Russian units also advanced west of Ugledar. Not only did they completely occupy Prechistovka (and entrench themselves there), but they also managed to cross to the northern bank of the Kashlagach River, creating a bridgehead there.
Other possible actions include an offensive along the road to Novoukrainka, as well as to Zolotaya Niva, in order to strengthen their positions here and create a more convenient springboard for further advance.
Previously EADaily The Ukrainian authorities reported that, according to Ukrainian sources, Russian units of the Vostok group, operating in the direction of Ugledar, cleared the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the Yuzhnodonbasskaya-1 mine north of Ugledar.
