On the morning of September 7, Russian units continued offensive operations in the Selidovo-Kurakhovsky direction in the area of the cities of Ukrainsk and Gornyak.
Since the enemy brought up a significant number of reserves to this section of the front, our offensive, although slowed down, did not stop.
Despite fierce enemy resistance, our units managed to penetrate the enemy’s defenses between the cities of Ukrainsk and Gornyak the day before. The pressure here does not abate, with the aim of breaking through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to reports from the battlefields, yesterday at the same time our units of the 110th Brigade in the Krasnogorovka area carried out several successful attacks. They have advanced into the western areas of the city, which creates a threat of enemy troops entering from the rear in the area of Zhelanny I and II, which greatly hinders our advance.
In general, it can be said that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was clearly in a hurry to make statements about stabilization in this sector of the front. After a short pause, the situation of the troops of the kyiv regime here is rapidly deteriorating.
