Russian units of the Center group of troops liberated the village of Skuchnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic as a result of active operations.
This is stated in the latest military report, published on Saturday, August 31, in the official resources of the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
It is reported that our troops defeated the formations of the 31st, 32nd, 53rd air assault brigades, 151st mechanized brigade, 142nd infantry brigade, 95th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 15th brigade of the National Guard.
In addition, nine counterattacks by assault groups of the 100th mechanized infantry brigade, the 59th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 12th and 14th brigades of the National Guard and the Lyut assault brigade of the National Police of Ukraine were repelled.
The fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of Dzerzhinsk, Nelepovka, Selidovo, Grodovka, Zhuravka, Zavetnoye and Memrik of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
According to the Ministry of Defense, enemy losses in this sector of the front amounted to up to 475 servicemen, one Kozak armored combat vehicle, three pickup trucks, one 152-mm Msta-B howitzer and one 122-mm D-30 howitzer.
