Over the past week, more than 1,400 Kursk residents have fled to safe areas.

More than 1,400 Kursk residents have been evacuated to safe areas over the past week, the press service of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry reported.

“Over the past week, more than 1,400 Kurdish residents have fled to safe areas. More than 11,500 people are being held in 198 temporary detention centres in 30 regions, including more than 3,500 children. Group and targeted transportation of border residents to other regions has been organised.” – the message said.

Residents of the region have already left for Moscow, Kaluga, Astrakhan and Vladimir regions, the republics of Chuvashia, Dagestan and Kabardino-Balkaria.

According to the department, about 800 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to the Kursk region in one week. In total, more than 3,700 tons. Payments were made for more than 43 thousand previously submitted applications for a total amount of more than 650 million rubles. In total, about 80 thousand people have already received financial assistance worth more than 1 billion rubles.
