The general secretary of the PSOE of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, arrived at the Federal Committee of his party, at the headquarters on Ferraz Street, hoping that while it was being drawn up, someone would show him the pre-agreement with Esquerra Republicana as an account of the management of taxes from the Catalan treasury, calling it an “independence coupon” and assuring that “no one has shown it yet.”
In statements to the media upon his arrival, he said he had arrived with “concern for the country and the most essential founding values of the left and social democracy.”
“I spoke at the end of July referring to the Esquerra Republicana project, but the truth is that at this point they don’t need to talk to me. It’s enough for me if you give me a copy of the signed agreement. I am struck by the fact that everyone is talking about the implementation of what was signed and I have not seen a signed document,” he noted.
