“I observed that the elections were held under democratic and transparent conditions.”
This was stated in an interview with journalists by Yuri Volkov, an observer of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the MBD, who observed the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.
He said the elections were held in full compliance with the law.
“This morning I visited polling station No. 12 of electoral district No. 4 of Nakhchivan city and witnessed the active participation of citizens in the electoral process. I also visited other districts of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. I was lucky enough to visit the settlement of Hyderabad. In Julfa and Ordubad districts I would like to note that everywhere there was a large turnout of voters. All voters received all information services,” added Y. Volkov.
