Red was the color of Sunday in the temples of Cordoba, in the priests’ chasubles and in the waxwork of many places. Red from the blood shed by the martyrs and also red from the love they showed them, as the Bishop of Cordoba said: Démetrio Fernández.
The memory of San Acisclo and Santa Victoria, patrons of the diocese of Cordoba, was present in the churches and also in the brotherhoods, in a singular way in two: in Buena Muerte and in Misericordia.
In San Hipólito, Our Lady Queen of Martyrs appeared with her hands embraced, after the triduum that her brotherhood dedicated in her honor. He did it with his monumental red coat of Esperanza Elena Caro, among pink flowers and escorted by cod, simpecado and a Spanish flag.
This had its reason, because the brotherhood received the brotherhood the gift a scarf from Brigadier General Félix Abad Alonso, which was placed at the feet of the Virgin.

The Brotherhood of Mercy and Holy Martyrs of Cordoba also paid tribute to those who gave their lives for the faith, in several places.
