Palma City Council has already removed 3,500 vandalistic graffiti in the city

Palma City Hall has withdrawn 3,500 vandalistic graffiti so far this year in the city, which represents an average of 380 graffiti removed per month.

Deputy Mayor and Environmental Advisor, Llorenc Bauzavisited this Wednesday the actions carried out by the municipal company Emaya in the facade of Sóller train station for the removal of vandalism graffiti, work that is part of the Palma a Punt cleaning program.

“As a government team, we are committed to eliminating vandalistic graffiti and we prioritizeas it could not be otherwise, the protected areas“, assured the councilor. “This is the commitment that we want to reiterate. We will apply actions like this one at the Sóller station in other places in the city,” added Llorenç Bauzá, also making material and human resources available to citizens “to put an end to this scourge.”

It is worth remembering that the Sóller station building was built in 1907. It is a rectangular building that was considered a Well catalogued.

From Emaya they explain that they are committed to keeping Palma clean and tidy. Thus, to facilitate the removal of graffiti on private buildings, they offer the anti-vandalism graffiti removal service with a reduced rate of 2 euros per square meter.
