Palma City Hall, through the Infrastructure, Accessibility and Industrial Zones area, has completed the last asphalting works of the storm sewer of Es Baluard del Príncep.
As the council reports in a press release, The tasks were undertaken in two phases – land side and sea side.– and were terminated this Wednesday. This organization made it possible to avoid completely interrupting road traffic, always leaving part of the lanes available for traffic.
Once these actions were completed, the Mobility Department proceeded to paint the horizontal signage to permanently open traffic. On this, starting this Thursday Adolfo Suárez Avenue is open to road trafficfunctioning as before the work was carried out.
Now, with the corresponding safety measures, the median curb will be placed and holes will be made in the asphalt in the area to ensure drainage.
The Town Hall reminds that the project to execute the rainwater collector in Es Baluard del Príncep is a “project of great importance for Palma”since it makes it possible to separate a significant part of the rainwater networks from the city center.
