It was a decision adopted by what is called Municipal Civil Protection Commission of Palma City Hall (PlaterPalma), which met urgently and agreed to launch a series of preventive measures, given the possibility of severe storms developing from mid-afternoon today Friday. Palma, like the rest of the Balearic Islands, is currently on orange alert.
However, they were hundreds of Palma residents who marched this morning along the Camí de Jesús and placed their flowers on the graves friends and family who have passed away, thus fulfilling the tradition in a gray day, with scattered thunder and a constant threat of rain. The Municipal Funeral Company (EFM) has organized several visits to the municipal cemetery of Palma, two of which took place last weekend, October 25 and 26, in the evening by the Teatrix company.
