THE NaviLens Codes It is a variation of two-dimensional barcodes, similar to a QR code, but made up of larger colored squares, and intended to help visually impaired people orient themselves using the NaviLens GO mobile app in train stations, subways, museums, libraries or, as in this case, with the codes installed at public transport stops.

Read several meters away
THE NaviLens App uses visual algorithms that allow the label to be interpreted almost instantly from several meters away (about 12 times further than a classic QR code), in motion and even when the color code is barely visible.
In this way, the system detects labels while the user is walking and without having to focus on the code, which is essential for people with visual impairments. The system can read codes with angles up to 160º and in low light conditions.
The installation of NaviLens Codes on all canopies and posts will be completed in about a week. Each awning will have three codes (one on each outside and one on the inside) to ensure that it can be seen from any position on the public highway. For its part, each post will have a code. It should be noted that these codes do not replace the existing QR codes on the canopies and posts.
The specific mobile application to read these codes (NaviLens GO) can be downloaded by accessing the Google Play (Android) and App Store (IOS – iPhone) application distribution platforms. In addition, with each NaviLens tag installed on TUC awnings and poles, there is another code to download the application.
This Commonwealth and TCC initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Committee of Representatives of Disabled People of Navarre (CERMIN)which helped determine the characteristics of the installation.
Free wifi connection in all villavesas

The browsing speed will be 1 Mbps (megabits per second). For security reasons and to optimize the efficiency of the connection, the system will restrict access to certain pages, as well as the download of large files with a limitation of 100 MB per user per day.
