Paris-2024: Five more athletes will fight for the gold medal today

Today, five of our athletes will compete for the gold medal at the Summer Paralympic Games taking place in Paris, the capital of France.

Oku.Az reports that first our para-swimmer Raman Saley (category S12) will try to triumph in the 100-meter freestyle swimming.

The qualifying round of this category will be held at 11:30 Baku time and the final at 19:30.

Our parachutists Aybeniz Babayeva and Kamran Zeynalov (both P4 category) will test their shooting skills at a distance of 50 meters. The qualifying round of this competition will be held at 11:30 Baku time and the final at 14:15.

Our parapowerlifter Jeyhun Mahmudov (54 kg) will join the fight starting at 20:35 Baku time.

Our para-athlete Rufat Rafiyev (category F36) will take part in the nuclear pushing competition. The competition in this category will start at 21:08 Baku time.

It should be noted that the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games will end on August 8.
