Paris-2024: Four more athletes will take part in the Summer Olympics today

Four athletes from Azerbaijan will compete at the Summer Paralympic Games in Paris, the capital of France, today.

Oku.Az reports that first our para-swimmer Raman Saley (category S12, 100 meters backstroke) will start the fight.

Konul Süleymanova (S2 category, 50m backstroke) will then start the Summer Olympics.

Our parataekwondo player Abulfaz Abuzarli (K44 category, 80 kilograms) will start the fight from the qualifying stage.

Aybeniz Babayeva (P2 category, 10m shooting) will be our last representative in today’s competitions.

It is worth noting that our national team currently has two medals. Our parataekwondo athlete Imameddin Khalilov won the gold medal. On the first day of the Paralympic Games, our parataekwondo athlete Sabir Zeynalov (58 kg, K44) won a bronze medal.
