According to the TV channel, such a request was filed against Le Pen and her associates in connection with allegations of fraud in the hiring of advisers in the European Parliament.

On September 30, court hearings on the long-term embezzlement of funds from the European Parliament in connection with the affairs of Marine Le Pen and the right-wing “National Unity” party opened in Paris. Meetings will continue until November 27.
In total, 25 people are named in this case, including the father of Jean-Marie Le Pen, founder of the “National Unity” party and current leader of the party. They are suspected of misusing public EU funds between 2004 and 2016, using these funds to pay parliamentary assistants who worked for the party.
