Students of the professional requalification and retraining program that the Government of Castile-La Mancha is developing in Hinojosa de San Vicente (Toledo) are carrying out various improvements in various buildings belonging to the City Hall thanks to the training they receive in sanitation and painting of municipal installations and furniture urban, which is the specialty of this Recual.
This is one of the 51 programs that the regional government is developing this year in the province of Toledo and which involve a job opportunity for 586 unemployed in a modality as interesting as the combination of training and employment that they offer to all participating students, 408 in total, who, with the six-month employment contract to which they have access, see their qualifications improved to increase their chances of reintegration in the labor market.
Next to these two pillars of the Recual programs, employment and training, there is this third pillar which is the benefit that they leave in the cities where they are carried out since the practical phase which includes their training focuses on action on municipal spaces, which means that it is a initiative that belongs to society.
This was highlighted by the provincial delegate of Economy, Business and Employment, Julián Martín, after visiting the requalification and recycling program of Hinojosa de San Vicente and learning up close, accompanied by the mayor of the city, Roberto Cano, how it is developing. the training of the eight students who participate and who, as verified, do so in a committed and very active manner.
It is for this reason that Julián Martín congratulated the participants and the professional team that manages this program, made up of a coordinator and a monitor, and completed by the ESO professors and the administrative assistant, for the interest they have in it. improving their qualification and leaving a mark in Hinojosa de San Vicente.
The provincial delegate of Economy, Business and Employment saw the result of the intervention on which he is currently working and which he is carrying out in the municipal gymnasium. Other municipal infrastructures will also benefit, such as the town hall, with the improvement of interior spaces and facades, as well as the exteriors of spaces so important in the lives of the residents of Hinojosa de San Vicente, such as the outpatient clinic. and the retirees’ bar.
All this will be supplemented by improvements in the intervention on guardrails, metal bars and doors and on various street furniture. “This is an investment intended to support people who have more difficulty accessing the labor market, by facilitating their access to a six-month employment contract and specialized training, which translates through the execution of works and the provision of services to the community which improve lives. of the inhabitants of the villages where they are developed”, underlined Julián Martín.
Likewise, the provincial delegate thanked the Mayor of Hinojos de San Vicente for his enthusiastic collaboration with the regional government in this initiative and his commitment to his neighbors, which has been fundamental for the Recual programs to also reach a small municipality like this town in the Sierra de San Vicente.
