“Relations between Yerevan and Washington are developing dynamically.”
Oku.Az Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement at a meeting with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Joshua Hack. The politician’s statement was published on the Armenian government’s website.
The Prime Minister stressed the dynamic nature of Armenia-US relations and emphasized the importance of the support provided by the US administration in the implementation of institutional reforms in Armenia. Pashinyan expressed the need to implement specific programs in Armenia with the help of the United States, including the improvement of infrastructure.
It should be noted that Hak and Pashinyan discussed the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as bilateral relations between the countries. The Prime Minister stressed that he is committed to ensuring peace in the region.
It should be noted that Nikol Pashinyan previously said that Armenia will not miss the opportunity to join the European Union. However, he added that Yerevan has no intention of breaking economic ties with Moscow and the Eurasian Economic Union.
In addition, according to the Prime Minister, Armenia is trying to diversify its economic relations by developing cooperation with the United States and the European Union. He noted that this is not about changing partners, but about expanding mutual relations with other countries.
