“Azerbaijan and Armenia have managed to agree on 13 articles and a preamble of the draft peace agreement, and the Armenian authorities are willing to sign the already agreed points.”
Oku.Az This was reported by Sputnik Armenia, referring to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during the international forum “Iran Dialogue” held in Yerevan.
“13 articles and the preamble of the draft peace agreement have been fully agreed upon, three articles have been partially agreed upon and consist of only two sentences. We propose to sign the agreed articles as soon as possible,” Pashinyan said, adding that peace in the South Caucasus is not only possible, but also real.
According to the Prime Minister, this will allow us to obtain an approved document and move forward accordingly.
Among the agreed articles of the peace treaty there is also a provision on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
