The Frenchman tested positive for DHEA (a hormone that increases testosterone) after the Udinese – Juventus match on August 20, 2023, and since then, he has continued to proclaim his innocence.
“I was very happy. I hadn’t done anythingso why would they sanction me for four years? I will be able to return to what I love the most”, Pogba recalls in statements to ‘L’Equipe’.
