Today Pavel Durov returned to the statement he made last week and said that the company has always provided information about dangerous criminals, their phone numbers and IP addresses to the relevant institutions, taking into account the requirements of the law.
“In fact, little has changed: since 2018, Telegram has been able to provide the IP addresses and phone numbers of criminals to authorities. When we receive a valid legal request through the appropriate channels, we verify it and provide the IP addresses . and telephone numbers of dangerous criminals,” P. Durov stressed.
