Pedro Acosta’s speech on MotoGP radios: “I tried it and…”

MotoGP to introduce first phase of radios next season. The race direction will be able to communicate with the drivers. And some do not approve of this measure. First it was Pecco Bagnaia and now he is the GasGas pilot Pedro Acosta.

In statements reported by ‘Motorsport’, Acosta says he does not like this decision: “I don’t like it very much and I don’t believe in it. I tried it in Qatar…”

“I like to be alone and think about my own business”Acosta said before the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

“Our heads are constantly moving, and even if you move a phone quickly, you can lose the connection. When I see how it works in F1, Your system is in-ear only with a cable. But what we were testing has something that vibrates behind the ear and touches the bone,” the rookie explains.

MotoGP will start introducing radios little by little: “If it’s inside the helmet, you can say what you want, but if something hits your head, if something serious happens, there will be doubt if it was the fault of what was inside the helmet.”
