Pedro Sánchez has designed an intense and international September as the start of the political year. The first stop was last week in Africa, where he visited three countries of origin of the irregular immigration that arrives en masse on the Spanish coasts.
Next week, the destination will be China with a visit to Beijing and Shanghai from September 7 to 12. Sánchez, who was already in China in March 2023 to meet with its president, Xi Jingping, will return to the Chinese capital to meet again with the president of the Asian giant and inaugurate the IX Spain-China Forum.
In addition, he plans to travel to Paris next week to support the Spanish team of athletes participating in the Paralympic Games, although Moncloa has not yet specified the date.
After the trip to China, the president’s next trip abroad would, a priori, be to New York, during the week of September 23 to 27 for the UN General Assembly.
However, in the middle of this agenda, he found time to make a private visit to the MTB World Championships taking place in the Pal Arinsal resort in Andorra, where he attended with his wife Begoña Gómez.
