Pentagon to spend .5 billion on space combat control systems

The United States has signed a contract with a group of companies to support space systems command and combat control for $2.5 billion, the Pentagon announced on November 6.

According to the US Department of Defense, the contract, concluded with the Axient group of companies from Alabama, Bryce Space & Technology from Virginia, Quantech Services from Massachusetts and others, must be completed by November 3, 2034.
