“We have been fighting for children’s rights and their more prosperous future for 10 years and today we are considered to have solved part of the problem by being in Baku.”
These views were expressed by the famous human rights defender Philip McMaster, known as “Sustaina Claus”, in an interview with Baku TV.
“We are at COP29, which is hosted by a country that pays attention to our problem and is willing to defend the rights of children. For years I have participated in the events of the republics that host the COP to draw attention to this global problem. Regardless of their language, religion and race, all children in the world are free and must live a free future and life,” he said.
