On Tuesday, October 29, the Bonaire shopping center, located in Aldaia, suffered a devastating flood caused by a DANA that left dozens of people dead in several municipalities of Valencia. Despite the scale of the disaster, the National Police confirmed that after an exhaustive inspection of the vehicles in the underground garage, No deaths have been recorded.
Sources from the Military Emergency Unit (UME) report that they worked intensively to evacuate the water from the parking lot, where currently there is a height between 10 and 20 centimeters. Even though the authorities have practically ruled out the possibility of finding other victims in the garage, they have asked the population to remain cautious and attentive, as the situation remains delicate.
