Plane makes emergency landing at Santiago airport due to smoke in cabin

A plane from Fuerteventura to Glasgow had to emergency landing at Santiago-Rosalía de Castro Airport after detecting smoking in the cabin when it was off the Galician coast. There were 170 passengers and six crew members on board, but there were no injuries.

Compostela airport staff contacted the emergency center around 7:15 p.m. the collaboration of health personnel and firefighterssince a plane with smoke in the cabin was about to land in the Galician capital, as explained by 112 Galicia.
