The Valladolid Civil Guard arrested two people as suspected perpetrators of a crime against public health in a house in Tudela de Duero, after discovering a plantation and intervening with 15 kilos of marijuana buds. Operation “Hitula” began following numerous anonymous complaints which showed how the characteristic smell of drugs reaches the streetas well as complaints from the neighborhood because the house was not far from a school.

Once the house suspected of hosting a crop was located, Civil Guard agents began discreet surveillance and managed to determine that it was the owners of the house who controlled, took care of the plantation and were dedicated to its commercialization , since the place also worked. as point of sale of narcotic substances.

Once entry and search were authorized, Civil Guard agents accessed the property with the support of several units. During the inspection, they discovered a plantation in a greenhouse located in the patio, where a total of 15 kilos of marijuana buds and plants being dried. In addition, 800 euros in fractions of currency and various weighing, handling or packaging instruments were seized.

The Civil Guard expressed its gratitude for citizen collaboration and recalls the importance of anonymous complaints in the fight against the cultivation and trafficking of illegal substances.
