Podemos points the finger at Sánchez and considers it “unbelievable” that the alleged corruption in the Koldo affair is not linked to him: “It is not credible”

In Moncloa and Ferraz, it smells strange. At least that’s what they think in Podemos. The purples, former partners of the government of Pedro Sánchez during the last legislature, designate the president of the government himself and the PSOE following the latest information on the Koldo case, revealed last week after the latest report from L’Unité Civil Guard Operational Center (UCO) contributed to the National Court. Among them, the “relevant role” of former minister Ábalos or the fact that Sánchez was nicknamed “number 1”.

In the opinion of Ione Belarra “this is not credible” that the alleged corruption linked to José Luis Ábalos – which “they are now trying to burn in the public square” – was carried out “without the president of the government and the rest of the party having knowledge of it”, declared the secretary of the Purple Organization Pablo Fernández during the usual Monday press conference. Moreover, he looked into the question, as it is, “no more, no less”, of his previous secretary of the Organization, former number three of the socialists and the one who was the right arm of the leader of the Executive.

“The corruption in the PP was not something foreign to Mariano Rajoy and the corruption, in this case, of the PSOE Unlikely to be unrelated to Pedro Sánchez“, continued the purple deputy, who presented himself alongside party spokesperson María Teresa Pérez. And the fact is that “to carry out certain corrupt practices,” he continued, “the complicity of a structure at different levels is necessary. It is unthinkable that the corrupt operate in secret without anyone, other than those who were ultimately investigated or charged, knowing anything about it.

“Is it really credible that no one in these administrations realized what was happening?”, they ask Podemos, given the existence of companies and contacts at different levels, linked to different ministries and socialist administrations .

“It has been shown that Corruption in the two-party system is not a matter of bad applesbut systemic. In this sense, he alluded to the Popular Party and to information according to which the Xunta de Galicia, as he explained, would have awarded almost 800,000 euros in hand-picked contracts to the brother of the right arm of President Alfonso Rueda. “These are typical logics of the two-party system,” Fernández emphasized.

In the opinion of the violets, “it has been shown, once again, that we are not all equal. While Podemos was in government to gain rights, others were there to steal and enrich themselves at everyone’s expense. Finally, the purple secretary of the Organization demanded that all those responsible for the plot “who dget back every penny you stole“.
