Polad Bulbuloglu received a grand prize in Russia

The Hermitage Prize in the field of culture and art was awarded in St. Petersburg, Russia.

According to reports, the solemn ceremony is being held for the second time in the St. George’s Hall of the Winter Palace.

This year’s laureates of the award were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Russia, musician Polad Bulbuloglu, and People’s Artist of Russia Boris Eifman, founder and director of the St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre Boris Eifman, honorary citizen of St. Petersburg. At the ceremony, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Polad Bulbuloglu performed the composition “How We Live by Struggle” from the film “Do not be afraid, I am with you.”

It should be noted that the Hermitage Prize is awarded to outstanding cultural figures from Russia and abroad for their achievements in the field of culture and art, preservation of cultural heritage and strengthening of international cultural dialogue.

The prize is a small copy of the famous Hermitage exhibit – the Kolyvan Vase.
