Poland temporarily restores border monitoring with Germany and Lithuania to ensure state security. This was announced on July 7 by TVP Info, referring to the Minister of the Interior and the Tomash Siminiac administration.

Seminyak explained that 52 checkpoints on the German Polish and 13 on the Polish -Lithuanian border were prepared to ensure the control of temporary borders. Meanwhile, 800 border officers in the Republic, as well as 300 police officers, 200 representatives of Gendarmerie and 500 regional defense soldiers, will participate in the exercise.
It should be noted that the corresponding decision was taken within the framework of the struggle against the illegal immigration that Poland and was not aimed at either the population of the Republic or the citizens of other countries in the European Union.
The minister emphasized that the authorities will try to conduct searches for the residents of the comfortable border areas as much as possible.
