Police arrested a man on Saturday with illegal gun possession and false credentials at a Trump rally.

A man was arrested Saturday near Donald Trump’s rally in Coachella, California, for illegal possession of a pair of firearms. He also had a fake accreditation. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department made it public this Sunday through a press release.

According to the police, Officers assigned to former president’s rally intercept SUV driver at a checkpoint near the intersection of Avenue 52 and Celebration Drive. Upon his arrest, officers discovered the man illegally possessed a pistol, a shotgun and a high-capacity magazine, the outlet reports. BNC.

The individual, identified as Vem Miller, 49, was detained at the John J. Benoit Detention Center. “This incident did not affect the safety of former President Trump or those in attendance at the event”they said from the sheriff’s department.

This arrest is the third linked to a possible attack against Donald Trump. Even if, according to the American press, in this case, there were no shots fired or any injuries.

The arrest comes after two assassination attempts against the former president.. In July, a man shot Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, killing a bystander. And in September, an individual was arrested after allegedly planning to kill the Republican presidential candidate while he was at his golf course in Florida.
