In Samara, a court detained a police colonel suspected of sexually assaulting his youngest daughter, who committed suicide after the abuse. This was announced today, November 25, by a source from the city’s law enforcement agencies, RIA Novosti.

Earlier it was reported that the deputy head of the linear regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for transport was detained in Samara. The colonel, who heads the department’s personnel department, is suspected of committing sexual violence against his minor daughter (Article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). After the incident, the boy committed suicide and a criminal case was initiated under Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement to suicide).
“Currently our own security agents are carrying out a series of measures aimed at determining all the circumstances. If his guilt is confirmed, he will be punished in accordance with the procedure established by law.” – reported the press service of the transport department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Volga Federal District.
