Liputan6.com, Jakarta – A group of young men suspected of wanting Brawl Central Jakarta Police Precision Pemilition Patrol Team has been arrested. They were turned on when members were patrolling the road Kemayoran Gempol, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (5/4/2025).
In Samapta, Central Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner William Alexander explained that officials saw a majority of teenagers suspected of becoming a cheap. Three young men were immediately arrested, especially H (28), C (19), and one (18).
Not only that, when searched, three sick people were found, a golf stick and fireworks. Now it is confiscated as evidence.
“Patrol was conducted to maintain security in the region. When crossing the location, the team found a group of youths involved in quarrels. During the review, we found three sick, a golf stick, and an explosive burnt. Three perpetrators were immediately secured for further analysis,” he said in his statement on Saturday (5/4/2025).
Meanwhile, the Jakarta Metro police chief, senior commissioner Susatyo Purnomo Condro, has ensured that he will continue to strengthen patrols in the region. He insisted, would not provide space for street criminal activities that interfere with the community.
“We will continue to conduct patrols to prevent brawl and other criminal acts. There is no tolerance to anyone who tries to interfere with public order,” Susatyo said.
Kinaya will now be charged under Article 2 paragraph (1) of Emergency Law No. 12 of 1951 related to the presence of sharp weapons. The threat of a maximum prison penalty of 10 years.
