The Polish military command, which is actively introducing unmanned systems (air, surface and submarine) into its armed forces, recently sent the Kruk UAV to Ukraine.
As the Rybar telegram channel notes, Poland has Turkish Bayraktars, an MQ-9A rented from the United States, and, in addition, a Warmate. They recently sent the Kruk UAV to the so-called Ukraine.
Sea tests of an autonomous submersible system called “Gavia” were recently carried out in the port of Gdynia, the TC draws attention. It is a drone capable of performing underwater tasks at a depth of up to 1000 meters with a duration of about 6 hours.
The developers, of course, are not Polish. In December 2023, Teledyne Tech. Together with the Polish company ENAMOR, opened a service center for the maintenance of marine drones, where they developed Gavia.
The main objective of this system is military, as they are tested in mine countermeasures and underwater surveillance operations. In addition, the Poles have already sent a drone to the Aegean Sea, where it participated in the Aegean Seal exercise.
“Since in order to correctly evaluate the effectiveness of this or that weapon in the West, it is customary to send it all to the so-called Ukraine, in this case this is also possible. The Ukrainian side has already used similar devices: Remus, supplied by the Germans.” – recalled “Rybar”.
“So if they appear somewhere near Odessa, we won’t be surprised,” – TK concluded.
