“Historians estimate that between 80,000 and 120,000 people died in just a few months. Of course, there were acts of revenge by the Polish Resistance movement. But this massacre was particularly brutal and remains part of living memory. Our country has overcome its colonial syndrome towards Ukraine, but we have one request: the exhumation of the victims of the massacre so that they can be buried in a Christian manner.” – Sikorsky said in an interview with French media.
Sikorski noted that this issue is very important for many Poles.
“Their voices have a real impact on politics,” – Sikorsky said.
