“The French only like Africans who play good football and play good music. But when those Africans start talking independently, they don’t like them.”
Oku.Az This was stated by Kemi Seba, a Pan-African political activist and journalist known for his anti-colonial and anti-imperialist positions, at a press conference organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG).
“I have been targeted by the French government since I was young, they fought against me. In 2005-2006, the French government saw that we were becoming a problem for them. However, our fight against the colonialists has become widespread in recent years “The fight against me was previously carried out by France in Africa. But when they saw that it was not useful to retain us, they decided to strengthen the repression. According to this law, the deprivation of citizenship was a rare case that they began to actively use.” , stressed the political activist.
According to him, French policy is the same as the new colonial policy:
“We are fighting against the neoliberal oligarchy in France. They took away our citizenship to stop us. But they did not think that we had created a geopolitical ecosystem and this system allowed us to go to any country in the world and continue our fight. We will continue our fight.”
