While the debate about the possible ban on the AFD continues, the party, which was classified by some aspects, so far, notes significant profit in polling stations – shortly after political summer holidays in Berlin.
In the latest political barometer, ZDF and Tagesspiegel AFD under the leadership of the party leaders Alice Weidel and Tinos Kroupal won two percentage points compared to research at the end of June and reached 24% – its best result since April. CDU under the head of CDU Friedrich Mertz, on the other hand, lost two points and reached 27%.
47 percent of respondents advocate voting with the CDU in favor of Brozius-Hersdorf. BSW and FDP remain below five percent with a fixed rate of three percent each and therefore are still not presented in the Bundestag. Other sides remain unchanged by six percent. With these results, black-red still does not have the majority in parliament.
The new CDU/CSU and the SPD -co -military have taken on responsibilities in less than three months, but the relationship between partners is already considered by a majority as a busy time: 55% of respondents, including 36% of CDU/CSU supporters and 44% of SPD supporters, consider it to be present. 35 percent evaluate it as pretty good.
60% of respondents believe that the black government will remain in power until federal elections in the spring of 2029. On the contrary, 34% expect that the coalition will stop prematurely.
Dissatisfaction with the federal government is growing
The satisfaction of the federal government has decreased significantly: while at the end of June, 60% of the Germans were still satisfied, this figure fell to 49%. At the same time, the percentage of the unfortunate increased from 31 to 41%.
For comparison: after the same period, the coalition with lanterns received significantly better estimates in February 2022: 64% were positive and only 26% negative.
