The survey conducted by the Israeli AWAL Jobs employment platform showed that 73% of participants consider the possibility of moving abroad, which increased markedly by 18% compared to last year, and this is the first time in five years, when more than 70% of Israeli workers express their desire to leave the country, even if temporarily.

Almost three quarters of Israeli workers said that they are considering the possibility of moving abroad, “with entry into the war in gas for the second year and the escalation of security problems after a conflict with Iran.”

The reasons for thinking about moving abroad, while traditional motives, such as improving the quality of life (59%), international experience (48%) and progress in work (38%), are still dominated, but new factors appear.

In cases where 30% referred to problems related to personal safety, 24% indicated political instability, and 24% said that they were disappointed with the state, although the level of disappointment decreased compared to recent years.

“We are witnesses of fundamental changes in the views of employees to transfer,” said Leit Shoshan, vice -president of professional development and employment at the “first works”.

She added: “This is no longer just a strategic professional solution. Rather, it is becoming more and more moving emotional, safe and economic considerations. ”

The United States is still the first place for the Israelis to consider the possibility of moving, with 44%of their beloved country, and New York was the most popular option for the city (17%), followed by Los -Ageles (11%) and Miami (8%).

Europe attracted only 26% of the participants, which decreased compared to previous years, and this decrease may reflect the growing concern about “anti -Semitism and demographic transformations throughout the continent.”

Some participants also expressed their interest in nearby directions, such as Greece and Cyprus (11%), while Australia, New Zealand (6%), the Far East (8%) and Africa (1%) received less attention.

Despite the attractiveness of the transition, many Israelis are concerned about his problems, and 56% said that the operation, despite its attractiveness, was not at all simple and is more than the previous survey, and 27% expressed their envy for those who have already moved.
