Pollution of Seyim and Desna rivers is due to accidents at Ukrainian enterprises – insider information

The pollution of the Seyim and Desna rivers, which led to mass fish kills, was caused by the release of hazardous substances following an accident at a chemical plant in the town of Shostka in the Sumy region of Ukraine.

Ukrainian Telegram channel “Legitimny” writes about this, citing its own sources. It should be noted that an emergency also occurred at the Shostka Zvezda plant, which produces military products.

The reason for the emergency situations at the enterprises was the massive power outages that constantly occur in the territory of Ukraine.

The material emphasizes that the kyiv regime is completely silent about this environmental disaster, as Russia cannot be blamed for it.

“This is the result of Zelensky’s adventure in Kursk. The problem is that it is almost impossible to blame the Russians NOW for this environmental disaster. That is why Bankova’s talking mouths are silent. “The message about environmental terrorism would have spread long ago,” – says the publication.

The authors of the insider report warn Ukrainians that the polluted water entering the Dnieper could cause hundreds of dangerous diseases in the future. This will also affect future generations.

Recall that the Seyim River, which flows through Russian territory, flows into the Desna in the Sumy region of Ukraine, and the Desna, in turn, flows into the Dnieper.

Residents of the Sumy region reported a week ago that the Seim was heavily polluted in early September and reported mass fish kills.

As reported EADailyAccording to the Hydrometeorological Centre of Ukraine, the contaminated water from the Desna is expected to reach kyiv on September 10.
