The Porsche company presented a new version of the “911 Carrera T” model.
Oku.Az reports that “Championat” published information about it.
The car is powered by the same manual gearbox as before, has a higher top speed and is produced for the first time with a convertible body, but the new model is slightly heavier than the previous one.
The new 911 Carrera T weighs 1,478 kilograms, 40 kilograms less than the standard Carrera. At the same time, the weight of the previous generation model presented in 2022 was even lower – 1,470 kilograms.
The novelty is equipped with a three-liter six-cylinder engine producing 290 kW (394 hp). The engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and sends power to the rear wheels.
With the “Sport Chrono package” as standard, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds (the convertible needs 4.7 seconds for this). The maximum speed of the “Porsche 911 Carrera T” is 295 km/h, and that of the “911 Carrera T Cabriolet” is 293 km/h. The previous “911 Carrera T” model reached a maximum speed of 291 km/h.
It should be noted that earlier Porsche presented the new model “911 GT3”, the announcement of which was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the debut of the first version of the “911 GT3”.
